When I informed my entire staff that I had gotten the big guys to approve the budget for the new computers we needed so badly, they were all excited. I did have to explain that we would need to be a little creative with the budget to be able to get the two new servers we needed because they had not approved those.

Bill who works in shipping and receiving raised his hand and told us that he knows of a company that sells used sun servers and used sun desktops that have all been refurbished. He knew that they came with a guarantee so we could all get a practically new desktop and get the servers and the cost would probably be under the total budget. I was curious about the company and asked him to print out any information he could find on them.

When he brought me the prices and styles to choose from, it looked like it would work for us. I had him place the order for the thirty used sun desktops and the four used sun servers. The shipping and handling were free because we had placed such a big order.

All of our new to us equipment arrived about a week later and the whole office came to a standstill why each person’s used sun desktop was pulled out of the box and also while the computer tech guys installed our used sun servers.
