I watched a play this Saturday about a Chicago remodeling company. It was not very good, and basically boring the whole time, but I think they portrayed the actual life of a general contractor in Chicago very well. The whole show lasted two hours, and the whole cast signed autographs afterwards. I went up to get an autograph for my annoying baby cousin, for whom my aunt demanded I get an autograph for, and I learned that the main actor was actually a worker for a Chicago remodeling company before he started his acting career. When I got home I was very interested in the remodeling business and I wanted to learn more about any general contractor in Chicago. I got online and looked for links to websites for these things, but I couldn’t find anything beside some senseless blogs. However, these writings did link to several companies and I found the Chicago remodeling company that the actor had worked for. They had it displayed on their website that their company had actually been the basis for the company portrayed in the play. I was ecstatic when I got this information and I called them to have every room in my house remodeled by them the next day. My wife was pretty angry the next day though, when she found out that I had already paid the $30,000 bill for the renovations.
