My parents had been looking at home theater systems for about two years and had not bought anything yet. They had built on an extra room to the house specifically for a home theater but could not bring themselves to spend the money on the home theater system and still pay a company to come in and install it all.

I told them that they could probably find someone local that would do a good inexpensive job but they had not looked into the cost too much because one of their friends had paid a lot to have their home theater installed about three years ago.

I started searching for someone to just handle the TV installation for them since they should at least be watching TV in the room, even if they did not have all of the other fancy equipment. The technician who came to do the TV installation noticed that my parents did not have any other equipment that usually goes along with a home theater. He told them about a special that his company was running that came with free installation if you bought all the equipment from them. In less than three days, my parents had their home theater system installed and now enjoy their new room.
