My boss told me to contact a storage facility in Raleigh NC to put all of the office furniture into, while our new office was being built. We were going to close up for about two months, when our current lease would be done and our new place would not quite be finished. All of our clients were well aware and we informed them that they could contact one of our affiliates if they needed service during that time.
When I found a storage facility in Raleigh NC, I then called a place that I knew sold moving boxes and have them deliver them to our office. The entire staff took the weekend to pack up everything into the moving boxes and get them ready to be taken to be stored. My boss was very touched by the way everyone was giving up their time to help him pack up.
The two month vacation that we will all have will be short lived and before we know it, we will be back to work, in our new office and unpacking everything that we just put away. I am looking forward to having a great new office to work from with ample parking for our customers, which was pretty much the main reason why we moved out of our old building.
