My brother ran a really successful law practice and was one of the best lawyers in the state. He did not however know anything about computers, other than the system he had at his office and how to check email. He relied on a team of computer guys that he had hired many years before. I had taken some college courses over the summer, just because I was interested in them.

My brother called me one day and told me that their servers were giving them trouble and that he had to shell out thirty thousand dollars to replace them. I asked if he had thought about putting in used servers. He said that he wanted reliable servers, not used servers that were probably a problem for someone else and that are why they would be cheaper.

I sent him an email with the name of a company that sold refurbished used poweredge servers and guaranteed them also. That made him very happy and I was glad to have helped him.

He told me that the team we were playing was made up of middle aged men and women just like our team was. I laughed when I thought I heard him say women. I knew that there was no way that I would have to play any football against girls.

On the night of our first practice for the Scottsdale flag football league team, I found out that there were in fact women on our team and they were making us men look pretty bad. I just hoped that they did this well during the first Scottsdale flag football league game this week.

I want to get my nieces and nephews something for Christmas that they would not only like but something that would be practical. I knew that the temperatures dropped considerably when the snow started flying up there in Minnesota and came up with the idea to get them footie pajamas.

I had to search a few different local stores to find all of the sizes that I had to get. I found all the toddler pajamas that I could ever want but the older kids sizes were proving hard to find. I think that maybe the internet would be a better bet, I know that I have seen sites in the past that have had older kids and even adult sized footie pajamas for sale.

It took me about two hours to find the perfect ones for my niece who is ten years old. I did not want to get some that looked like the toddler pajamas that I had gotten for her younger brother and sister. I wanted some footie pajamas that were warm and fuzzy but also had an older more grown up look to them as well. I found them on a very well known company’s site that also had some adult’s sizes. I decided to go ahead and get some for my sister and her husband. They are kind of like a gag gift but also they might end up wearing them on one of those cold snowy nights this winter.

I was hired on at the local community center office to answer phones and handle ordering. I wondered what kind of ordering that a community center would need besides office supplies, but I soon found out that they also needed everyday things like cleaning products, and office furniture too.

I called and placed my first office supplies order from the place that they had always used and everything went very well. The order was delivered on time and everything that I had ordered was in the box. I then had to order some office furniture but the place that they used to use had closed and I needed to find someone new.

I found a discount office furniture store online and placed my order. That order also came on time and everything was in the order was sent. When I opened the invoice for the discount office furniture, a few days later, there was a catalog of everything that they sold in addition to just furniture. I was happy to see that they also sold office supplies and after comparing their prices to the company that the community center used, the furniture place was a better deal for pretty much everything.

I am thinking about starting up a web based retail company that sells little trinkets and stuff. I have had a little experience in retail from being a past manager and I also have done quite a few trade shows in the past. I feel like I can make it work if I have the right guidance and do my researches before jumping in to it head first.

My idea is the first thing that I started to research. I wanted to see how many other companies out there sold the same kind of stuff and how they ranked and for what search terms and so on. I also wanted to see their traffic numbers and how long it took them to get there.

Some of that information that I mentioned was hard, if not impossible to find out. But I could get a pretty good idea of it enough that it will definitely be helpful. I am not sure how popular Danny DeMichele is but I found his advice to be pretty sound.

I read a few of Danny DeMichele written blogs and thought it was good stuff. I will follow his advice as well as some others. I will create a game plan similar to a business plan before getting too involved and wrapping up a big investment.

13. Being Prepared with Life Insurance

Just before I got married I wanted to be sure we could afford all of our bills and still have a good life insurance policy. My parents raised me with good standards and values so I wanted to be sure to have all my ducks in a row before tying the knot.

I went to the computer over at the office that I work at and searched for a life insurance quote so I would know what to expect. I really could not do anything until my fiancé and I got married but I wanted to see some life insurance quotes just to know what to expect.

I read all about many different types of life insurance like no medical life insurance, fully written life insurance, and many others. I must have spent hours reading and asking life insurance questions and taking notes.

I learned a lot by reading from different websites and just educating myself. It became pretty apparent that I was doing the right thing because there was a lot to read and many things to choose from. I am more confident now that we can make things work with our new family and that I will be able to provide adequate insurance coverage for my new family in the future.

I was given the name of a good PR company, from my buddy Jason. He had used them last year when some bad photos of him doing some bad things had been leaked to the public. I was not sure if my bad press was as bad as what he had dealt with, but I was willing to give them a call and check them out.
