It’s been 7 years since the Smith’s of Georgia had a family reunion and now, we decided to see each other once again; from our great aunt Libby, who’s still alive and kicking at 105, down to our youngest member, Aaron at 3 weeks old. This is sure going to be a blast; that’s what I thought since I was placed in the Planning Committee to brainstorm on the activities. But one thing is for sure, I wanted all 137 of us to wear funny t shirts to distinguish one generation from the other.

There are over 6 generations of Smith’s at this time and I was really planning to color code the tees according to generation, not by family. Anyway, I contacted this online website which specializes in funny shirts distribution. I was so satisfied with the way they handled my order.

The last time that I saw the Arizona wedding music band that played at my sister’s wedding, they were in a local night club. I knew that they looked very familiar and I found out that they were setting up for a party later that night. I did not know that they also were a well known Phoenix private party band or I would have hired them for my companies Christmas party last year.

I guess that I should not have assumed that they were only an Arizona wedding music band. Now that I know that I can get them, I am going to let everyone know that at this year’s Christmas party, we will have the best Phoenix private party band around and they will all enjoy that.

When I was given a promotion at work, they did not tell me that I would be taking on the task of ordering all the safety supplies and the janitorial supplies. This would explain why the janitor would always stop into my office and tell me that he was out of something. I was always puzzled by that. Then, one day, my boss came in to ask me why I had not been ordering the janitorial supplies and the safety supplies. It took him all of about two minutes to explain some of my new responsibilities and I was all over it.

Since that day, there has never been anything that the janitor or anyone else has had to tell me to order, I check through the safety supplies and the janitor closet every night and make sure that they are never low on anything.

I just sent out the first office supplies order of the month to our favorite office supply store. We usually try and see who has what on sale and then base our orders off of that. This week, the office supply store that I really like using is having a huge sale and we pretty much needed everything they were having it on.

I like using this particular store for our office supplies because they give us a ten percent discount for using them, since we are only just up the street and the delivery does not really cost them anything. The only time that I use someone else, is if their sale is under the ten percent discount I received with the place down the street.

The PA siding company that my neighbors hired, to tear off the old aluminum siding and replace it with vinyl did the job in record time. In fact, I have told so many people about them that I think they owe me a referral fee, if they even do that. I remember the PA siding company that my husband and I hired about ten years ago, to redo our siding. They had been in business for about fifty years and the owner was getting ready to retire. I think that we were one of the last jobs that they ever did, he closed up his business and moved down south shortly after.

I know that it is not as hard to find general contractors in PA, as it used to be. I think that we only had three choices when we chose our siding company. Today, with the amount of general contractors in PA that offer more than just one type of service, the list is endless. Plus, today more contractors are willing to drive father to get jobs. The days of working strictly in one town or one county, are gone. If you have to drive two hours to make good money, they are willing to do it.

Back in the days when I was in high school, I used to find summer jobs to make some extra money so I could enjoy nights and weekends out with my friends. There are so many things to do in the Tampa area, but it can get expense, especially for a teenager.

The best job I ever had was working for lawn care companies because I would sit on a nice lawn mower all day and just cut grass. I would wear my walkman and would just knock one yard out after the other. I loved the smell of fresh cut grass and still do today. One lawn care company I worked for, moved me up to foreman over a small grass cutting crew. I still got to ride on a mower so I really did not care what my title was.

I was in charge of the others in my group but honestly I had a pretty good lawn care service crew so I did not have to do much but let them go. I was lucky in that most all of my crew were friends so it was like I was not really in charge and we all got along great.

The structured settlements that were awarded to both of my sisters have really not helped with their bills. They both wish that they could just have all of the money, and then they could buy a house and possibly a new car. They currently share a three bedroom apartment and they also share the same car that they did back in high school. Sometimes the car starts, and sometimes it does not.

There was only one other person on the bus, but I still showed them my phone and they were impressed also. I called a couple of people to see if they had heard about it and two of them had, and one had not. I asked them why they did not tell me, and they both said that they figured that I already knew about how to watch mobile TV from your phone.

I guess that since I usually have all the latest and greatest computer equipment and I trade my cell phones in every six to eight months, to get the newest models, I can see their point.
