My parents are always following the world current events and texting me and sending me emails and pictures of what is going on. I am interested in what is happening, but not to the extent that they take it. In fact, I usually am at work most of the time that they send me the updates.

I have asked them to just go ahead and send what they think are important world current events to my home email address but they still send them to my work one. I hope that my boss never checks what kind of mail I am receiving during the time that I am supposed to be working.

Maybe, I can call my parents and tell them that I got a new email address for work and give them some free account one. Then I can just come home every night and check what they have sent, reply to it and then wait for the next day to begin. Some of the things that they send me are actually interesting and I like being kept in the loop. Then, there are some things that I really do not feel are that pertinent to my world. It is nice to know that my parents have something to fill their day but I wish that they would realize that I have a full time job and cannot devote the same amount of time that they do.

We were the first family in our area to put an awning to beautify our front porch. It was lovely but above that, it provided us protection from weather, shade when it was too sunny and oh well, it was really a great improvement on the entire look of our home from the outside. That is why my son would never get tired of being assigned exterior house cleaning duties. Even his old time friends would help him out with it.

But no matter how careful they were, Tony (my son’s buddy) accidentally ripped the awning. It was bound to be destroyed anyway. It served us for years but still, I had this nostalgic feeling. Tony’s mother, Teresa offered to install a new awning. She said that she knows of this awning installation and maintenance team that would definitely bring back what was destroyed. I agreed since she was very apologetic.

The next day, there was a man knocking on my door. He asked permission to start working on my awning. I though, wow, courteous. He gave me a flyer and I read their other services. Pressure washing, roof cleaning, graffiti removal… Nice… I decided to wait for their final output.

I was not disappointed at all. In fact, it surpassed my standards! It was very scenic and I loved it! I thanked Teresa for it and decided to have some roof cleaning as well. This company - I would recommend to anyone - even strangers! They are simply great!

The 3D foam designs that I had seen online were proving to be hard to find. In fact, there was not one store within sixty miles of my house that I found that made any type of 3D foam sculptures. I figured that I could just go ahead and use an online store, but if I could find someone that was kind of local, I wanted to use them. I run a local shop and love it when people shop locally.

When I finally came to the conclusion that I was not going to be able to purchase any 3D foam designs anywhere within a reasonable distance, I turned to the internet. I guess that there are just some things that you can only find on the web. If it gets me exactly what I want then I am all for shopping online.

The four sites that had 3D foam designs that I really liked, were all reasonably priced. I had to almost flip a coin to choose one. In the end, I chose the site that offered the 3D foam sculptures that I had originally seen almost two months ago. I am so excited about this piece; I hope it gets here soon.

I put the business checks in the top drawer and apparently my boss told me that they were not there. I know that I put them there and no one else should have been in the office after I did that. If for some reason I lost them, or someone took the business checks, then I will have to pay to replace them.

If I have to pay for them, then I will be buying some cheap checks. I know how much my boss pays for the ones we use now and I am certain that I can find some better cheap checks online through a different company. If he does not like that idea, then he can install hidden cameras in the office to find out what is happening to things like the business checkbook.
